We are looking to see if there is interest from parents who would like to become an official this season!

Whether you are:
✔️ Already a certified official
✔️ Interested in becoming an official
✔️ Willing to learn and support our swimmers

Becoming an official is a great way to stay involved, support our team, and help our meets run smoothly.

✅ Background Check Requirement (NWAL Certified)

All certified officials, coaches, and any individual working with NWAL athletes in the water are required to complete and pass a background check through Sterling Volunteers.

Cost: $18.00 (paid directly by the volunteer)

🔎 How to Complete Your Background Check:

1. Log in or create an account at www.nwalcertified.com In the “My Certifications” box at the bottom of the screen, click the red-highlighted “Required” link
2. You will be redirected to Sterling Volunteers to complete the process and submit payment
3. You will receive an email once your background check is complete
4. The NWAL compliance officer will update your status in NWAL Certified
