Good afternoon Hurricanes Families,

Thank you to everyone who came out today and completed evaluations, We were able to assess approximately 36 swimmers! We are excited to welcome all of our new swimmers to the team.

If your swimmer did not make the team and is interested in lessons, please email us at [email protected]. If you would like private lessons with one of our coaches, we can help coonect you to them. You may also consider our team sponsor, Lone Star Swim Team, or other local programs.

IMPORTANT – Schedule Change:
Our 7/8 (Hurricane Ike) and 9/10 (Hurricane Rita) groups are currently our largest. The 15-minute overlap created too many swimmers in the water at once and became a distraction for those already swimming. To improve safety and focus, the 9/10 (Hurricane Rita) group will now begin at 7:15 PM through May 8. **Please note that the May 11 group shift, as indicated on the practice schedule, will remain unchanged.

Lastly, thank you for your patience. The first week is always a bit chaotic as we work through the kinks. We appreciate your flexibility! And for those mentioning the temperature—the water may feel a little cold now, but it will warm up quickly.
